BEGINNING/INTERMEDIATE CREATIVE STUDIO
A space for continuing jewelers to explore, experiment, and refine their personal vision.
Open to students who have taken a beginning jewelry class using a torch specific to jewelry making.
Wrap up your unfinished jewelry projects or dive into your own independent work at the studio. This class provides individual support tailored to help you complete ongoing pieces or advance your skills in design, technique, and fabrication. The focus is on personalized assistance. You'll also gain insight by observing instructor feedback given to fellow students, offering additional opportunities to sharpen your problem-solving abilities.
Please note that this class does not include projects or materials.
However, you can add on a project kit and attend a demo from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
Our demonstrations focus on a specific skill through the creation of a finished piece of jewelry. The materials for the projects are included in the kit and demo fee. They include brass and copper. If you would like to work in silver, a list of materials is provided at registration. The projects are: sweat soldering, bail making, French wires and soldering posts, basic bezels, sawing tips and tricks, turtle settings, and cup and saucer settings.
